Crathorne Hall

I’ve not been to Crathorne since the infamous fire and subsequent restoration, so yesterday’s wedding was very much eagerly anticipated and did not disappoint. Previews of the wedding will follow in the next couple of days. But here’s a quick shot I grabbed at the stunning entrance.SJM Social Media (1 of 1)-11

Today’s wedding: Gisborough Hall

Finally, the sun returns! Just in time for this weekend’s weddings. Today I’m at one of my more regular venues and a definite favourite, Guisborough Hall, for the wedding of my old mate (and Edwin Van Dar Saar lookalike) Nick and his fiancé, Jus.

There are fewer more scenic venues when bathed in sunshine. Cannot wait.

Newton Hall, Northumberland

When I have upcoming weddings at venues I’ve not previously visited, I do so prior to the day. This week I drove up to Newton Hall, around 45 minutes’ drive north of Newcastle.

Impressive would be an understatement. Quirky, classy and unique are three words that immediately came to my mind as I parked up and walked in.

I absolutely cannot wait to shoot Laura and Steven’s wedding here. Even the weather can’t ruin the day as it’s as impressive inside as it is out!

The Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough

I play football every Wednesday evening. Every week I see the sun setting over Teesside and every week I plan to take a camera and hope to grab a photograph that does the scene justice. Every week I forget to take my camera. Until this week! I must admit that I had hoped for some stunning sun rays peeping through the clouds. No such luck. Armed with only a 24mm lens and up against the clock, I decided to drive up to the Transporter, take a few frames and stitch them together as 24mm simply wasn’t wide enough for one shot. This was the result. Middlesbrough’s Transporter Bridge in all her glory.Transporter Bridge Middlesbrough Sunset Pano (1 of 1)

Price freeze!

I usually assess and increase my wedding package price each October. However, this year I will be keeping my price at £849 for a full day of wedding photography for every booking made and deposit paid before 31st December 2016, regardless of how far into the future your wedding is.

Amazingly, I am now taking bookings for as far ahead as 2019 and at venues right across the UK. If you like what I do, don’t miss out on this price and book as early as possible to secure your date. I hate telling people I can’t be at their wedding.

Please keep spreading the word – it’s very, very much appreciated! Recommendations are the best form of advertising!

Thank you,
